Yes, students have free access to The New York Times! 

Here's how to sign up (claim a NYT pass)

Go to the Learning Commons home page and select the NYT link.  You may be first prompted to log in with your CMCC email login and password if off campus. You will then be redirected to the NYT pass page.  Select Create Account and use your CMCC email.

You'll receive an email from the NYT to validate your account.

Once signed up, students have access until graduation. Faculty/staff have access for 4 years, and then will have to claim another pass.
