CMCC Wireless FAQ
Beginning in January 2025, connecting to CMCC’s Wireless internet will require users to accept a Terms of Service agreement to connect. The new open wireless connection name has changed to “CMCC Open”. Please reference the FAQ below, on using the new wireless network “CMCC Open”.
Android Devices
- After connecting to CMCC Open you will see a message under the network name to Sign in to the network.
- Tap Sign in to the network
- A webpage will pop open in order to accept the service agreement.
- Click the check mark and sign in to connect to the wifi.
Apple Devices
- After connecting to CMCC Open the Terms of Service will will automatically open where you can accept the service agreement.
- Click the check mark and sign in to connect to the wifi.
- Some Apple devices may need to open the web browser and will be automatically redirected to the captive portal to accept and sign in.
Laptops and other devices
- After connecting to CMCC Open you will see a message under the network name to Open browser and connect.
- Clicking that will open a webpage in order to accept the service agreement.
- Click the check mark and sign in to connect to the wifi.
